Veterinarian
Dr Imas Yuyun is a veterinarian with fourteen years of professional experience in Animal Health in Indonesia. Dr Yuyun has worked as a Veterinary Officer at the Directorate of Animal Health, Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health Services, Ministry of Agriculture, Republic of Indonesia, since 2011. Dr Yuyun’s professional memberships include: the Indonesian veterinary drug association; Veterinary officer of the Rapid Respond Unit; person in charge for HPAI SMS gateway; person in charge for Commercial Poultry Health. She is responsible for the Central HPAI Database and integrated iSIKHNAS (National Animal Health Information System) with the Participatory Disease Surveillance and Response (PDSR) Database. She designed ‘Surveillance for Poultry Commercial Health Officers and Dairy Farmers in Districts’ and produced modules for farmer training in Biosecurity, Vaccination and Management. She has facilitated farmer training on Livestock Management and Husbandry.
Dr Yuyun has also collaborated with various international organizations in the context of animal health, such as the FAO-UN and ECTAD program, AIPEID (Australia) and AERES Training Center International (Netherlands).
In July 2020, Dr Yuyun graduated from a Master of Field Epidemiology (Veterinary), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta.
