Dr Khrisdiana Putri is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia. Dr Putri has been working on avian influenza diagnostics and evolution since the first outbreak in Indonesia in 2006, including through the development of a test for differentiation between infected and vaccinated animals (DIVA) during her PhD at The University of Melbourne, Australia. Recently, her research has focused on molecular properties of Fowl Adenovirus, Mycoplasma and Anthrax for diagnostic purposes. Dr Putri’s 14 years of expertise in diagnostic test and zoonotic diseases is pivotal in supporting the development of APCOVE’s Diagnostic Test and Covid-19 e-learning modules. These modules also benefit from her extensive research experience in avian diseases diagnostics and control in Indonesia. Her role as a country partner in APCOVE is also underpinned by her experience with online teaching which is relevant in preparing suitable learning delivery methods for participants from developing countries.
