Abrao Jose Pereira

Dr Abrao Pereira is a Timorese veterinarian and researcher trained in the Philippines and Australia. He is a young researcher interested in collaborating with international partners in applying veterinary epidemiology as a tool to address animal health issues and their socio-economic and public health impacts in Timor-Leste. He has worked with the Ministry of Agriculture of Timor-Leste for 3 years. He currently works as animal health epidemiology officer at Menzies School of Health Research Timor-Leste and as a part-time lecturer at Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosae (UNTL).
