Kaylee Myhre Errecaborde

Dr Kaylee Myhre Errecaborde, DVM PhD, is a policy researcher and a veterinarian. Kaylee supports health workers to situate their technical work within the context of international policies and frameworks. As a Technical Consultant with the Human and Animal Interface Team at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, she supports member countries to build capacity for collaborative, One Health preparedness and response for zoonotic disease. As faculty at the University of Minnesota, her research focuses on global approaches to health workforce development, collaborative governance, policy, and trade capacity. She previously worked for the US Congress on global health, border health, international trade, and food security issues with both the US House Foreign Affairs Committee and later on the US Senate Homeland Security Committee. Her focus on policy began during her graduate work for the US Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC, the WHO in Geneva, Switzerland and the Institute of Agriculture Technology in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
