Kyaw Naing Oo

Dr. Kyaw Naing Oo has been actively involved in the Regional FETPV programme organized by FAO (Bangkok) up until 2020 as a country mentor. In addition, Dr Kyaw was invited to run 4 days of workshops with the title of “Unraveling surveillance data analysis for FETPV candidates” in 2013 and 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand. Moreover, Dr Kyaw provided outbreak investigation training in Laos, Cambodia and China in 2013 and 2014. As Myanmar is considered to be a FMD, HPAI, PRRS, ASF, and Rabies country, Dr Kyaw has undertaken many outbreak investigations and has contributed as a leader of the outbreak investigation team. Between 2010 and 2019 Dr Kyaw provided epidemiology lectures for 4th Year students, University of Veterinary Sciences, Yezin, Myanmar. Dr Kyaw has acted as co-supervisor for more than 50 students who enrolled in the Veterinary Epidemiology Master and PhD programs.
