Dr Naomi Cogger is a Professor in Epidemiology at Massey University’s EpiCentre. She drives multi-disciplinary research that uses epidemiological methods to improve the health and welfare of animals. Through her research and consultancy, Dr Cogger has developed an understanding of critical issues in the control of diseases and risk analysis. Previously, Dr Cogger has undertaken research to develop surveillance strategies for animal diseases and conducted risk analyses to evaluate quarantine risks associated with the importation of animal products. She is passionate about helping people learn epidemiology, data analysis and risk analysis and has over 15 years’ experience in the design and delivery of online courses in these areas.
