Dr. Rodel Jonathan Vitor graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines in 2009. He finished his Master of Science in Physiology and Doctor of Philosophy major in Veterinary Pathophysiology and Animal Health from the University of the Philippines in 2018 and The University of Tokyo in 2023, respectively.
He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biology, College of Arts and Sciences, University of the Philippines handling courses in Animal Morphophysiology, Biostatistics, and Experimental Design Analysis. He is also a subject-matter expert in biorisk management, biosafety, and biosecurity for the National Training Center for Biosafety and Biosecurity, National Institutes of Health, University of the Philippines.
He serves as the Vice President of the Philippine College of Veterinary Epidemiologists. He serves as a trainer and mentor on courses conducted by the specialty college, particularly the Applied Veterinary Epidemiology Training.
