Sam Hamilton

Dr Sam Hamilton is a veterinary epidemiologist, with a background in animal health surveillance, emergency animal disease preparedness, risk analysis and trade. Sam was Director of the Epidemiology and One Health section in the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment and is currently on secondment to Safe Work Australia.

He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists Epidemiology and Veterinary Public Health Chapters and holds BSc(Vet), BVSc and PhD degrees from the University of Sydney.
