Vannaphone Putthana is a lecturer in animal disease and medicine, epidemiology, food safety, and One Health and Food Security. His research interests are in veterinary medicine and food safety. He has served as APCOVE country coordinator and Network manager for LAOHUN, actively working towards expanding membership and advocacy for research, education and training on One Health by the member Universities. Dr. Putthana has been coordinating several international projects funded by the ACIAR, the European Union, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and the World Organization for Animal Health. Dr Putthana earned his PhD at the Czech University of Life Science, concentrating on Food Microbes.
