Vu Thi Thu Tra

Dr. Vu Thi Thu Tra is a lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Vietnam National University of Agriculture, Vietnam. She graduated as a veterinarian at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture in 2008 and received a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) at Chiang Mai University, Thailand in 2013. She obtained PhD in Veterinary Medicine (Dr. med. vet.) from Freie University Berlin, Germany in 2018. After PhD program, she contributed to the FAO project on Rinderpest Communication for livestock farmers in Viet Nam between June 2020 – July 2022. She has participated as a country partner of the Asia Pacific Consortium of Veterinary Epidemiology (APCOVE). Her study focuses on antimicrobial resistance, food safety and animal disease control and prevention based on risk communication and improving farm biosecurity. She also takes part in many activities of Vietnam One Health University Network (VOHUN).
