Widagdo Sri Nugroho

Dr. Widagdo Sri Nugroho, DVM, MSc is a lecturer in Veterinary Public Health Department, FVM UGM, Indonesia. He has more than 15 years experience working in field epidemiology and is a member of the university team for animal disease surveillance consultation in some regions in Indonesia. Dr Nugroho was Faculty coordinator for the animal rescue team during the Merapi volcano eruptions in 2006 and 2010. In 2012, he undertook a Veterinary Leadership short course at the University of Sydney, Australia. Dr Nugroho has been promoted to Vice Dean of Human Resources and Finance of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, with a period of 2021-2024. He began the role on 3rd December 2021.
